AM I ELIGIBLE?
Our services are designed to make it easier for seniors, folks with disabilities and caregivers to eat well. You may need to complete an assessment by the Area Agency on Aging to qualify for couty subsidized meals.
WHO DELIVERS THE FOOD?
Our staff and volunteers deliver directly to your door. Each time they deliver they will provide a wellness check.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We accept Options funding Community Health Choices/Medicaid, insurance and private pay
The Meals on Wheels Program needs your donations to help offset program costs. No one is denied services because of their inability to donate. Donations help support the program along with Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania and corporate support.
WHERE DO YOU SERVICE?
We cover the entire Allegheny County Area.
HOW OFTEN ARE DELIVERIES MADE?
Hot meals are prepared fresh and delivered to your door on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by our friendly staff and volunteers. We also deliver specialty frozen meals any weekday.
DO YOU HAVE ALTERNATIVE MEALS?
The meals we provide are specially designed to provide one third of your recommended daily nutrional needs. Our specialty meals include Heart Healthy, Renal, Diabetic, Low Sodium, Low Cholesterol and Pureed Diets.
This came to us with a donation for Meals on Wheels and it may be worthy of sharing. I know it made us feel good.

People need to know that this program is not just for the long term homebound elderly, but for those who are recovering from a hospital stay and need some support until they get back on their feet.
